JCLAM Christian School Marikina | Nursery & Kindergarten

So my niece, Chloe, recently moved-up on school and is now going to study for the elementary grading.. Man, it felt like it was only days ago when she was born. Time flies so fast really. Well, I personally have seen her grow from the school she went from so I thought why not give that organization a little tap on the back on nurturing and teaching our not-so-little Chloe now great things. She excelled in many subjects, but the one we really appreciate are the values they taught her especially when dealing with other people.

Unlike before where intelligence and reputation are the main things to look into, now, parents consider other factors like EQ, behavior, values and the environment of the schools and other learning centers before carefully deciding on enrolling the kids in that institution. I kind of liked it because personally in school before, my own motto was to learn things.. Not just score high. Ranking at the top can be inspiring. but that was not my main goal. I can take low scores and grades on seat works, homework, recitation, and quizzes but I always make sure to exert effort on either learning or developing something on why I got that. I vividly remember on seeing some my classmates getting higher scores than me and knowing that they got it not because they studied but their seatmate did.. (Hindi ko sinasabing nangopya sila pero parang ganun na nga haha!) but even in those circumstances I knew I got something better than that temporary score they got..

And to cut this boring reminiscing part, let us now turn to where Chloe nurtured her own foundation.

Michael, Chloe and Gab
Here is my niece Chloe with our friend Gab-Gab

The school's name is JCLAM Christian school. JCLAM is an abbreviation that stands for "Jesus Christ Lord of the Ages Ministries" which is a local church here in Marikina City. Question. So are they on the same tree? Yes, they are.. Which is personally a great thing for me. Knowing that the children will not only learn the basics of education but also will also be exposed to the basics of having Christian or Godly values are a-must stuff. They are the foundation you will not regret investing with.

Their humble beginnings started last 1985 and are continuously growing and producing more and more "quality" kids should I say that are ready for the next level.

Watch this video below to know more things about them:

As seen in the video, I think they got enough credentials to be in your priority list of schools to check before sealing any deal on others especially if you are living near Marikina City. Reiterating that they are a member of the following reliable associations like Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI),  Marikina Private Schools Association (MARIPRISA) and the Marikina Private Pre-School Association (MARIPRIPA).. And them being DepEd recognized is already something to be proud of really.

And as much as I know (if I am not mistaken), they also offer tutorial services too. I suddenly remember my personal experience of having our own sessions too - back then. I remember hating it since school breaks are supposed to be free time to do other things like play, play and play (lol) but there I was still studying during summer breaks. Well, our time is different now and of course it is just now that I realize the importance of those times since more or likely it is dependent on the guardian's decision.

One of the not-so invisible factors this school stands out is genuine care for everyone. It is impossible for you to not see it from them as they treat everyone here like family (from students to parents and it still extends to their friends really). The teachers here are so passionate about teaching the children and even its office staffs are also concerned about how the families of the students are doing.. It is just soo nice to see. One reason maybe is because they are also a family inside, but I think it is because of the Christ-like foundation they have gotten since the institution is working hand-in-hand with the church. I think you really cannot separate those bodies since we are talking about values here, which should apply to all as persons.

Hmm.. There is so much to add in here, but I think the video above will already give you a great idea of who they are. I can add topics tackling their cool activities for kids to learn via some unique and fun ways, their exceptional methods of dealing with both building and disciplining children, and even with adding extra efforts beyond what they are expected is so natural for them. I suggest you go visit them personally or reach them on the given details below to know that this information are legit.

Finding a good pre-school is important. I like that this school is based on Christian values. I started my kids off in Catholic exclusive schools too. It was a good decision because the school I chose for them helped my kids to not only learn academic stuff but they also helped me raise my kids to be morally upright and compassionate.

  18. My older daughter went to a catholic school until high school and my younger one only attends public school and I can tell the difference between the two of them. As long as your niece is happy and gets the best education, it is worth it.

  23. Indeed, deciding on the school where children would enroll is crucial. The school would be their second home so it should be safe and must be nurturing.
