Sushi Fix Manila (Marikina) review

Can't get enough of Japanese foods? Well, all I can say is "We, the same". Lol. Whether we are just craving some or they are just our go-to comfort foods, if it's delicious, it's delicious.

Sushi Fix Manila has different branches but the one we got to visit is their Marikina branch here along Gil Fernando Avenue. They serve a vast range of Japanese cuisines from soups, onigiris (nigiris), ramen, sushi, rolls, rice bowls, pasta, salmon, sashimi, and more. They even serve coffee, ice cream, cakes, and other beverages and desserts.

Their aesthetic establishment looks and feels modernly authentic which is their main theme and I am digging everything inside.

I would not mind staying here for hours because it is that comfy and homey inside. Their staff are all welcoming and friendly which really adds charm to the whole vibe of the place. Great job, Sushi Fix! Anyway, the foods we tried here were the following:

chicken katsu

chicken teriyaki udon

ebi tempura

miso soup

nori fries

pork tonkatsu curry

salmon karaage

california sushi baked

Everything was expectedly delicious and they delivered. Our family shared each item so we can have a taste of everything and it was a perfect move. The nori fries and california sushi baked were dark horses but their ramen and soups were the stars at that time. Even though I don't usually do ramen and soups, I really liked how they balanced their flavors and versions here personally. 

Our katsu and tonkatsu were again expectedly great but I am digging how neat I can eat their ebi tempura were. Haha! Their salmon karaage's texture was perfect and good thing we have rice to combine it with. Sarap! It seems their modern take on things being applied to their food offerings is bearing its fruits.

We also had their vanilla ice cream as finishers and it capped our experience here beautifully. Watch the video below for it. We were all satisfied and full after and can't wait to go back again. Until the next, Sushi Fix Manila! I have my eyes on your beef strips, wagyu robuta, chocolate cakes, and that tonkotsu ramen.
