Toffen Fitness Gym by Kenny and Toffi

If you have been to Kenntoff Fitness Gym even once the past few years, well we have great news for you guys! They re-opened and bounced back even better and tougher. Now named "Toffen Fitness" gym, they are still in the same area but just a few blocks away from the old location - still at Masinag, Antipolo City.

This gym started as a very simple one (you can check that old link above for that) and I am privileged to see them grow. I personally appreciate them as the family man the business. You can just feel their passion in between those walls that get transferred to their guests. I still miss a specific spot at their old location which is the over-looking one since they were previously located on the 3rd floor of a building. We usually visit the gym after office hours (sunset times) so the views we often had were beautifully dramatic. Me and my office-mates do our stretching there before going to the battle arena and even after to cool ourselves down. This time, though they are located at a ground floor commercial area - better for business I guess, and now with a second-floor space which is kind of cool too. Now they bought new equipment to play with and got a bigger area too to rest on (Haha)! So let's stop this reminiscing part and get in the gym.

Of course, they still have the usual barbells and dumbbells for the regular weight lifters, but man, just appreciate that matte black color all over that is so tempting to be baptized.

Present inside are some plyosoft boxes for some plyometrics that are specially made for the athletes out there.. Not discounting the tyres for some tyres flipping exercises, and the bars for some pull-ups if you can. Basically, they have a full practice set for that circuit and functional training that is great for everyone. And when I mean everyone, it is really everyone. The video at the bottom can attest to this.

Basic set-up for conditioning

So if you are looking for some strength conditioning, muscle toning/building or even just the place to sweat the day out, this gym might be the one for you. As I am pretty sure Kenny or Toffi will often be around, they can guide or assist you with some things you might want to do.. Depending on what you are focusing on. They regularly play basketball (and they are pretty good at it) so if you are as well, you might want to ask them what specific exercises to do in you to be better at playing the sport.

The fun thing here is that they also have some challenges and freebies from time to time for the members and non-members to enjoy. They had the planking challenge (with prizes), they gave limited Toffen shirts and tumblers to some of their members, discounted membership fees on selected days, cool workout routines for groups to compete, and a whole lot more..

Well, that shirt and tumbler are rockin'. I hope to get one of those too if they still have stock.. Aside from those.. They also got what they call the "milk tea room". Since milk tea is a current trend, besides that it tastes good lol - you can also have a taste of their own version here too. At least if you drink it here, you have the choice to burn it all up again. The room can also serve as a great place to rest and be social with some of the people there.

You might want to be extra social there as you really can't tell, you just might be working outside to side with some of our local celebrities there (again, check the video at the bottom for more surprises). Well, for those who still don't know them, Kenny and Toffi were previously housemates of Kuya's Pinoy Big Brother edition, thus making their network a bit more popular than the average. Come on, let's be honest here as we are more inspired to develop when we see good examples of what we wanted ourselves to be, physically.

So its time for us to get up and be fit again! Getting that healthy lifestyle is an investment we really should not take for granted.
