It has been a while now since I keep seeing that digital ad about a revolving restaurant just outside of that area before going inside Eastwood city.. and yes, it really has its own time when it'll happen. Who would have thought that it will be today, that I get to visit them.. Read along and don't even skip on seeing the video I prepared below as I will be sharing there our amazing visit here.
Seoul-Sky dining |
Seoul-Sky restaurant is an authentic Korean food place located on the 33rd floor of MDC100 building in Eastwood city. It revolves 360 degrees overtime making you see the overlooking skyline of the nearby cities. It's truly breathtaking!
So let's start as we always do that they practice proper pandemic hygiene and contact tracing protocols before going inside the establishment. Actually, since it is located inside a building, you will be going through a number of front desks before making it in the actual restaurant.
By the way, we called them in advance to reserve a slot. I recommend you guys to do it too as it will be less of a hassle for everyone (you and them) especially this time as they practice the limited capacity system due to covid.
Most of the seats inside are located at the edge of the area so don't worry about getting a place with a good view because all of the seats have the best view!

dining area outside the revolving belt |
The gray padded belt area is the one revolving so if you are not comfortable with its movement, you can transfer seats that are outside of it. The movement is quite slow and you may or may not feel it but it usually jerks a bit so you'll notice it from time to time. Watch the video below if you are curious about how it moves.
They uploaded their menu on their Facebook page so as a tip, have a peak there to see what fits your cravings (link is given at the bottom).

Before the ordered meals come, they'll serve these delicious side dishes which tasted great already. They got a lot of great feedback from the family like that sweetened mashed potato and those meats going empty first among the rest.

So as time seemingly goes fast here, orders came one by one without the feels of waiting. Eating time! The first one to be served was this Bibimbap, Korean-style mixed rice with assorted meats and veggies. The color is as colorful as its taste. ;)

We also had this Jeyuk Bokeum which is a spicy stir-fried pork serving. Did someone say spicy? Me is present! Wahaha!
Jeyuk Bokeum |
We ordered a steaming Galbitang (beef rib soup) too, which you can watch in the video below to compliment the cold temperature inside and some classic shrimp tempura and Korean dumplings to complete our main meals.

Well, we each ordered some drinks as well. Frappes and fresh juices for us too, please! See more by watching the video below.

If you are still not entertained enough, you even have the option to watch some television and enjoy some music while you pass by these entertainment systems around the corners. They definitely know how to please their guests as it came to me as a surprise that there is even more to the whole experience.
entertainment systems around |
And with that said, I am definitely digging the services here. This is something to experience at least one-time especially for the residents near the area and the neighboring cities. Even though the prices may seem a bit high for some, they'll just let you feel it's reasonable inside. Great job for that Seoul-Sky!
The visit is worth it. The synergy of great food at reasonable prices, super comfy and neat ambiance, breathtaking yet relaxing views, plus excellent services and entertainment systems is a killer combination. A recommendable experience, indeed.

I am looking forward to coming back and try more of their other offerings. Until then, let me leave you with this simple video of our recent visit here. I hope you enjoy watching as I certainly did (played the replay button a couple of times).
