ErMEATaño Marikina review

We stumbled upon a new food place here in Marikina that focuses on and serves crafted smoked meats big time. They actually have different branches already in other cities and now have arrived here in our beloved area.

ErMEATaño (Marikina) alfresco dining

They are called ErMEATaño located at Guerilla Street Sto. Niño, Marikina. They serve different chunky smoked meat plates, budget rice meals, hot soups, veggies, and a variety of drinks including fruit shakes and milkshakes.

One of their obvious traits is having some good and relaxing alfresco dining just like this picture below.

I like how they keep their theme simple but make it a point to be updated and aesthetic. It's a straightforward chill food place with style. Everything is looking pretty nice so far. It is so good to know that they also have a lot of entertainment options here too which are the following:

Pinoy billiards

arcade

darts

go-kart

The Pinoy billiards and darts are free-to-play, arcades are coin-based, while the go-karts are to follow. Well, to be honest, the givens above are so many things to do already in one place besides the food so I think these are already some great additions why you should check them out.

Now, we go to the food. What we tried when we visited are the following:

pork rice meal

The sisig was phenomenal. Sarap! Prepare to order more rice than usual. The taste was perfectly salty. Pati yung smoked sinigang, goods din! The soup was very thick and sour. Hindi tinipid yung ingredients used. For the pork rice meal, the dip was very flavorful. I won't hesitate to ask for more especially if it's free. Haha! Our suggested room for improvement here though are the serving sizes which should be adjusted to bigger ones lalo na yung sa smoked veggies.

These meats above were served fresh and hot. They were all soft and juicy. And to partner them all with the ambiance they have, our group actually had fun staying here besides doing our regular care group gathering.

We were seated in their 2nd-floor open dining place and were treated to relaxing nature views and some breezing cool wind from time to time. They also have enclosed and roofed dining areas so feel free to choose as per your preference.

We went here while they are on soft-open so I am really excited about what they'll have more when they do their grand and official opening.
