Crema & Cream Cafe Bistro & Coffee Lab review

Different coffee cafes are continuously sprawling in & out of the metro and later on, becomes part of people's everyday routine. We all have our favorites and biases when it comes to selecting coffee shops where we take our time to do our stuff or just simply chill with friends. Well, this one might be one of our favorites because they have a lot more to offer.

Crema & Cream Cafe Bistro & Coffee Lab is located at Timog Ave. in Quezon City. Of course, their flagship products are their cream-based drinks but not limited to that. They also offer eye-candy and mouthwatering dishes from different kinds of appetizers, sandwiches, pastas, pizzas, burgers, full meals like steaks, to even desserts.

But before we dig into those, let me just appreciate how nice their place looks and feels. Aside from the semi-minimalist theme (which I liked), everything looks really neat, clean, and groomed. I am digging the combination of marble counters and cement-finish walls. The vibe inside is very light and relaxing but at the same time with class and elegance.

And with this Tron-like lighting inside, it gives the place more energy and makes it more alive.

The temperature inside was nice despite having the house almost full. We went here for early dinner time on a Saturday and managed to transfer to a table beside their window. I personally prefer those kinds of areas because I feel more relaxed and open to those kinds of views.

During our stay, the foods we tried here were the following:

USDA Steaks & Fries

Cafe Rib

We also ordered:

Waffle ala mode (chocolate)

The steaks (medium rare) were really nice. They were soft and juicy. Though I rarely eat steaks, theirs is recommendable. The cafe rib's serving was huge but due to its thickness, you may need to save some of its sauce when you get to the center. The rib's meat was really tender and easy to slice even if you cut it vertically so that is one less thing to worry about when you order it.

The fish parmegiana is a discovery (thanks to Polo). I like the combination of the balanced saltiness of the fish breading with the spiciness of the pasta. A must-try here for me. The pizza and the waffle taste as they are but the generous serving sizes should help you appreciate them more accordingly.

When it comes to cream or coffee, I am not a guru or expert as I prefer macchiato, 3-in-1, and frappuccinos only when given the options. But during our stay here, the group enjoyed their drinks which consist of vanilla black, strawberry & peach iced tea and Ron managed on finishing 3 orders of horchata. Lol. Though we hope that they can up the serving sizes when it comes to their drinks, the taste somehow makes up for it.

Generally, we enjoyed our stay here with all of its cozy ambiance, relaxing vibe, and great food. I won't be surprised if they'll have more patrons in the future especially bicycle and motorcycle riders who'll do their stops here. Combine it with their delicious offerings, all good Crema & Cream, all good. If you can add the coffee bean aroma inside, that would be perfect.

By the way, they also offer workshops all about making coffee so make sure to be updated on their schedule HERE.

Hopefully, I can try the other items on their menu on my next visit when we pass by the area again. I am looking at trying the pork shoulder, chicken sandwich, and more steaks the next time. Haha! Looking forward to it!
