These good-looking Onigiris are made by Girinoy. A Marikina-based online food business that delivers them around the town including some of its neighboring cities. Each onigiri is made by hand that goes through quality checking and proper handling.

What is an Onigiri? Onigiri is a Japanese-based food that is made by forming a triangular-shaped rice meal that is commonly wrapped in Nori (dried seaweed). The flavor varies depending on what ingredients were used inside the triangular rice meal where different fillings are stored including different meats and all the other mixes.

If you are curious about the name, Girinoy, it is simply a Filipino (Pinoy) version of the Onigiri where typical Filipino food is used as fillings. Currently, they offer the following flavors:

- Teriyaki Barbeque
- Classic Tuna
- Spicy Tuna
- Cheesy Beef Salpicao
- Tapalog
- Longgalog
- Tocilog
- Honey Spam

Aside from the generous serving size and quality ingredients used.. as per some of their customers' feedback, one of its factors in gaining their patrons is its affordability. Each handmade handful of Onigiri only comes for P65! And, it can even be more affordable when availing of their ready-made packages which are the following:

* Buy 3 for P190
* Buy 6 for P380
* Buy 10 for P635

What I like about this product generally is that it's handy and very portable. I mean, it comes like a snack but it satisfies you full like a regular meal. How cool, right? I also would like to commend the way it's packaged because it's presentably designed and it holds everything in place.. you can eat it anywhere and any time without being THAT messy. Unlike attacking a Mexican burrito/shawarma where loots around you can be found. Haha!
