Hosaku Asian Grill review at SM North EDSA

If you are looking for a unique dining experience to remember, visit this restaurant now! They fused the popular eating style of the Japanese and Koreans where you can grill your food on-site while getting them from the moving conveyor belt.

Hosaku Asian Grill is located on the ground floor of SM North EDSA - tower 3. They are an eat-all-you-can get-all-you-can food place with unlimited drinks available. A Japanese-inspired samgyupsal style type of fusion.

Once you dine here, a one-time initial platter will be served which contains different kinds of meat and seafood that can be enjoyed.

All the rest will be available on the moving conveyor belt on the side. Everything here can be grabbed ready for grilling, heating, or cooking on your table.

Different kinds of food will be served including rice, fried rice, different types of meat, maki rolls, bread.. literally everything including the desserts. They even have this legend if you want some reference about the foods you are grabbing.

Don't worry too much about the drinks as they serve either unlimited gulaman/tea and water here inclusive of the given rates (unless you prefer the optional sodas or bottled water for some additional fees).

The experience is quite enjoyable as we were getting plates after plates even up to the last minute. The person sitting beside the conveyor belt must be attentive as to they are the ones who can grab and get the food. Different types of food are served depending on the time so there is always something to look forward to when something different is available on the moving belt.

The meats are quite flavorful and I really enjoy the spicy ones, especially the chicken meats. I am not fond of sushis and makis so it was fried rice plus meats for me all the way! Samgyupsal conveyor belt style it is.

I think I'll need 4 more chicken plates for grilling, please! Haha! And 2 fried rice bowls! Boom! LOL! Anyway, here is their physical poster there just in case it will help you have more information about them.

We were actually not expecting to get inside that time because we were just walk-in customers only. A friend of mine told me that lines here usually go long early and they don't do reservations. Well, it rained early that day hence maybe our visit was something not their usual. And because of that, we were not expecting to eat that much that time! Too bad our stomachs were not that empty but it is a great excuse to go back, right? Hehe.

I would love to visit again and just enjoy the experience in a more relaxing manner. Looking forward to that time and I'll make sure to not eat anything on that specific Hosaku day until the visit!
