With the rise of interest in venturing into businesses, stocks, and acquiring digital assets (especially during and after the pandemic), I encountered a site where their games are not only fun but are very practical and can learn the basics of the given which can be applied to real life.

Mortgage Calculator houses the games. Basically, their site is an online calculator for mortgages but not limited to that. What we'll focus on here are the games they have which can all be accessed and played for free (no registration needed).

The first game that captured me was this Real Estate Tycoon game.

As a graduate of entrepreneurship, it has been a dream of mine to purchase land properties because the value of those (most of the time) goes up accordingly. Here, you'll simply buy assets as they grow and shrink in value. A starting balance account will be given by default and the target amount should be attained before the clock runs out - depending on the game mode.

The catch here is to make sure you earn on every transaction by selling properties higher than what was initially priced or else, funds will run out. There are a lot of factors that will affect one's performance because not all assets go that high and some are premium-ly priced. Managing your balance account is also key because you can purchase assets simultaneously as long as your funds can.

With my experience with cryptocurrency and my interest to learn more about how stocks work, I played this and I was pretty much amused.

Simply click buy if you think the graph is on its low end then click sell once it's on the high (or the graph is increasing in height). The graph is representing the price or value of the stocks so the simple strategy here is to "buy low, sell high". The graph moves fast so this one requires your full attention to be able to do good. Well, I managed to profit more than $3,000 here which I wish was true! Lol. Haha! This is fun, indeed!

If you are looking for pure fun, try Bomb The Bridge!

This game is frustratingly challenging in a good way. It makes you think and strategize partnered with the right timing of detonating the bombs.

Aside from bombing the bridge, points are counted per unit falling off from it. It seems easy at first but you'll get what I mean if you play the game yourself. All I can say is that those bridges know how to hang. Haha!

Besides, blowing those units off from the bridge brings some satisfaction too but maybe it's just me? Let me know if you feel it too!

Anyway, these games are just a few from their list but the potential of learning and the probability of those being applied to real life is just undeniable. How I wish such games were already present back then so I hope the younger generations appreciate games like this more and learn from them while having fun.

Some of my recommended games that are must-try would be their other business games like the burger shop, idle farming business, and idle startup tycoon. They are so business-related that it encourages and raises interest in starting one's own business rather than being a regular employee.
