Yanzi Marikina | The pot rice hub

It has been a while now since a new Chinese restaurant emerged from all the sprawling food places especially here in our City. Their first branch was in Quezon City and now has found a new store branch here in Marikina.

Yanzi Marikina

Yanzi by Lido Cocina Tsina  (Marikina) is located at San Roque, Marikina. They offer different kinds of meals from pot rice servings, noodles, specialty chicken, pork, and beef dishes, dim sums, and some vegetable sides. The variety includes the following:

salted fish and liempo pot rice

sizzling mongolian beef

seafood oat congee

The food was served accordingly and was really fast considering the presentation, the neatness, and the freshness of everything. I was really impressed! Ang ganda ng system nila dito.

The pressure-cooked salted fish and liempo pot rice's smell was oozing when you take off the lid making our appetite to eat exponentially intense. Ang bango at ang sarap! Their congee was surprisngly good even though hindi ko talaga hilig yun. Mas masarap siya sa regular congee kasi oats ginamit nila.

Their shrimp foo yong was really nice too and aside from the delicious shrimps, naenjoy ko din yung veggies na kasama dito. Good thing I went here with James as silver mantao is one of his favorites. We drizzled the condensed milk over and even dipped them before munching. The crispy outside texture compliments its soft interior making the experience something to appreciate.

P.S. Medyo ma anghang lang yung sizzling mongolian beef dito pero since type ko ang maaanghang na pagkaen na enjoy ko siya. If you are going to eat it ala carte, ready your drinks on the side.

Their place looks really nice and feels wide. The vibe inside is very accommodating and comfortable. Ang classy pero homey kaya goods na goods. Ang friendly din ng mga staff nila and they serve really well.

You can watch from this window how they make some of their dishes and it's actually entertaining. They weigh, chop, wash, prepare, and cook here letting you know they serve clean, neat, and fresh meals here. Good job, Yanzi!

Wala akong natikmang hindi masarap from all we tasted and I am looking forward to trying some of their noodles the next time. Na enjoy namin ni James ang food trip dito!
