Enbu at Okada Manila | Japanese restaurant

There are many restaurants inside Okada but I am glad we selected this food place because it served us big time! Not only with the food and services but also in terms of the ambiance and the entertainment value. But do make sure you visit them at specific times to maximize the experience of the place.

Enbu is one of the specialty restaurants inside Okada Manila. It is a Japanese-themed restaurant designed with thousands of red chochin lanterns hanging from the ceiling. Seatings are arranged per counter as the traditional Japanese style of cooking is shown accordingly.

It is located along the crystal corridor of Okada where the water fountain show can be directly seen.

What's practical about eating here is that the prices of the food are affordable but you still get to enjoy the grandness of the place. We ordered individual meals for each of us and waiting here doesn't feel like waiting because of how entertaining everything around us is. You may want to get that picture of the day here or simply just enjoy the happenings around.

Our orders came and they are as follows:

I really enjoyed my chicken teriyaki because we were really hungry that time after roaming around the vicinity. I actually ordered a separate bowl of rice to fully enjoy the meal. I also got to taste their tonkotsu ramen and it was flavorful despite eating just a spoonful.

Of course, shrimp tempura is a must-order because you can't go wrong with it just like bacon. Lol. Not a fan of makis and rolls but the presentation looks really insane (in a good way). It's not overly done and was finished elegantly. Great job, Enbu! Everything looks really niiiceee!

The main thing that made the difference here for me was eating here while the water fountain show was going on. The background music plays in sync with the show and it was something to experience. I know this one sounds so simple but it's really different when you experience it firsthand. It ups the dining experience 10x better so make sure you know the water show periods. Watch the video below to see some footage of what I am talking about here.

I uploaded one of their water fountain show here.

That time, the water fountain shows that perform with the lights and sounds were scheduled to start at exactly 6:00 PM daily with 2 full soundtracks that last around 15 mins. every hour.

So if you are going to visit Okada, make sure to put this on your list to dine at and enjoy more than what you paid for. You can check their menu here in advance for your convenience.

Here are some clips of our visit to Enbu. I will try to create a separate entry (if possible) for Okada Manila.
